A Chartered Engineer and Aviation Systems Specialist. Has been involved in civil aviation for almost 40 years, in air traffic control and flight-test roles initially, and more recently in ATC system and airport design and operations training, education and research.
He has considerable experience as a multi-disciplinary project team leader, and within international consortia involved with complex systems requirements capture and design. Most recently has been responsible for risk-assessment research and teaching of airport-related operations and design elements of the MSc Airport Planning & Management course at Loughborough University.
Mike is responsible for the delivery of the company's training programmes in operations and business development, and has developed modelling tools for use in risk-assessment, and airport planning and design applications.
