An Accountant/Economist by profession, Roger has over 30 years experience in airports, transport and public services, covering senior management and economic and financial consulting. He has a wide experience of financial planning, project funding and commercial management of airports.

As a consultant he has worked on many airport/aviation projects, throughout the world, covering a wide range of financial management and commercial issues including airport privatisation, for the public and private sector clients. As Director of Finance (Manchester International Airport), he was responsible for Financial , Commercial and Legal Services.

At Manchester Airport , he was responsible for transferring the public sector owned Airport into private company format (the first in the UK), and he has extensive experience in advising on airport privatisation.

Following several appointments in the public sector, he served as Financial Controller in the creation and operation of a major UK Passenger Transport Executive.
